In 70% of the offices it is impossible to function optimal. One of the biggest things causing this, simply is an unhealthy inner climate due to outdated and badly adjusted installations. Bad air sucks energy, from people that is. It can cause complaints like headaches tiredness, fatigue and lowered concentration. Only by improving the air conditions, performances go up 5 to 10%.
By measuring the air quality, we can take measurements. This doesn't necessarily mean expensive adaptations are needed. First, the current installations are inspected. Adjusting them better can already have a lot of effect. Furthermore, this saves energy. Energy use lower, comfort higher, it's a win-win.
With a Qwik-it we measure how healthy and liveable a building is, by checking temperature, air humidity and the CO2 value at the workplace, but also: where are at which moment people present? All this data gives insight into the quality and the 'health' of the work environment. This way, we can determine where costs savings can be done and which potential there is for improvement.
Buildings can be improvement in many aspects. And don't forget about keeping the workplace clean. Often this still is something economized on, but a clean floor adds to the air quality and a healthy inner climate as well. By implementing these kinds of improvements people eventually get more energy and this can be found back in the company results.
